Shandong Jinsheng Marine Resources Development Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huitai Investment Group Co., Ltd., which has been reorganized from Shandong Chengkou Salt Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Wudi Jinsheng Chemicals Co., Ltd. Located in Binzhou Beihai Economic Development Zone, the Company lies in the central region of Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone, Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone and Bohai Sea Economic Zone.
With the registered capital of 0.1 billlion yuan and covering an area of 140 square kilometers, the Company owns 1,400 employees, and has built the seawater ecological industrial chain of “Aquaculture from primary brine, bromine extraction from medium brine, salt manufacturing from saturated brine and potassium-magnesium extraction from bittern”. Moreover, as a modern scientific enterprise engaged in salt and salt chemical industry development through the comprehensive utilization of seawater resources, the Company produces crude salt, bromine, potassium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, refined salt and magnesium chloride, with the annual production being 1,200,000 tons, 3,000 tons, 40,000 tons, 18,000 tons, 120,000 tons and 160,000 tons, respectively.
Relying on the seawater resources and regional advantages, the company has seized the historical opportunity of building the Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone and Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone. Moreover, the Company has enhanced its reformation, built the national hundred-ton level sea salt manufacturing base, and developed the high added-value products; besides, the Company strives to develop the marine industry, and develops the project of extracting potassium sulfate from bittern and comprehensive utilization of high-tech industrialization, thus realizing the multi-purpose use of seawater resources. It thus has built the world’s first 40,000-ton demonstration project of extracting potassium chloride from seawater, which provides technical support and demonstration for the large-scale industrial development.
